HALO TEST: THE VISION
The idea for Halo Test crept on me during my first year of university, when we were assigned to write a research report on the 'halo effect' : the psychological explanation for the good deeds and social experiences that either kind or physically attractive people receive, as an indirect result of their positive features. I jotted down the idea during a seminar, and thought it would make a catchy name for a blog I've been thinking of writing for years. A lot has changed since my first blog post here, and I am beyond ecstatic to share with you the vision that Halo Test represents today.

Halo Test is about the life that you want to create for yourself. It is about choosing to be in charge of what is happening to you, as well as choosing to be genuine about who you truly are. It is about holding on to the good and positive things that make you smile and keep you going, and letting go of negativity, burdens of the past and nagging insecurities. It is about leaping off square one with a particular goal in mind and chasing it down the board fiercely, and not stopping for anything and getting back up every time you fall down.

Two things I am insanely in love with are writing and using every day as an opportunity to improve and grow. And these are also the things that I am looking for in writing this blog.

On Halo Test, I write about anything related to self-development, mental health and academia. Not only am I providing insightful content and advice on a variety of topics within these spheres, but I am also seeking to take my writing down to new places and push my own limits as an artist. Everything that ends up on this blog is informative and fun alike so chances are, you already want to stick around.
